ADAPT & EVOLVE – A LOOK AT OUR STORY
For this post, we’re linking you directly to an article published in Business View Magazine‘s December 2020 issue. This issue focused on celebrating the “resilience, team building, innovation, determination, and unrelenting hard work in every sector of the American economy,” said Editor in Chief, Lorie Lee Steiner. We are proud to be featured among other companies and organizations that demonstrate those value and strengths. We still do exactly what we started doing back in 1948 – repairing and building field erected welded steel storage tanks – but over the last 70+ years, we’ve adapted to new customer needs, new technologies and new requirements. We’ve evolved to serve customers in different industries and to work in different geographic areas, but our commitment to service for our customers has not changed.
The article “Fisher Tank Company Adapt and evolve” features an interview with our company President, Paul Windham, and highlights some of our history as well as the ways we’ve grown and adapted to storage tank needs and changes in the industries we serve. We began with the simple mission of filling a need for reliable, responsive storage tank repair services in the refineries in the great Philadelphia, PA, area. That purpose quickly grew to include repair services for storage tanks in other industries, plus new tank design, fabrication and tank erection services. Today we serve customers in different industries and in locations across the US. We’ve grown and changed, but we have remained committed to our small business, hand-shake style beginnings, dedicated to integrity at every turn. Our motto remains “safety, quality and productivity, and in that order.” Check out our story (starting on page 95) here!
